Does It Matter Which Way I Put the Bag Into the Machine?

Nope — it doesn’t matter which side is facing up or down. OutOfAir bags have an embossed side (with air channels) and a smooth side, but both sides work the same in your vacuum sealer. The channels let air escape during sealing, and that happens no matter which way you place the bag.

As long as the open end of the bag is fully inside the vacuum channel of your machine, your sealer will remove the air and create a strong seal either way.
